When we step out of our comfort zone, we are better able to appreciate the beauty of the unknown, even though it might feel scary. To achieve great things and make a difference, we need to open ourselves to a world beyond us, seek pathways, and walk deliberately toward new options.
In our tech journey, there are deadlines and death marches to face but something magical happens when we challenge ourselves and take chances. Taking chances requires seeing the difference between the life we have now and the life we want in the future, then understanding the work involved to make it happen. To win our goals, it requires self-discipline, taking 10X massive action, and stepping into the realm of the unknown. It involves a lot of grit, hard work, and overcoming obstacles. Keep in mind that absolutely everyone makes mistakes and falls along the way; the test comes for us to get up and grow from those challenges.
If we are willing to discover, experiment, innovate, and try new things, we teach ourselves how to chart paths in unknown territory and overcome our fears. We need to build faith in ourselves knowing we have done it before and can do it again. When faced with a risk or challenge during game time, we all need to put on our game faces to some degree.
Your input needs to be great, excellent, phenomenal, and outstanding compare to anybody else.
