Kaizen Thought: We don’t accidentally just drift into greatness. We instigate movement.
“An object will not change its motion unless a force acts on it.“
Sir Isaac reminds us that an object at rest will remain at rest, and an object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by an external force.
Let’s think of it this way: Nothing moves until we do.
Newton’s first law is not only a principle of science, it’s a principle of living.
In the same way, when we have a dream or a vision in life, we must remind ourselves that we won’t move forward unless force is applied. In this sense, the force is our ACTIONS. We act, we initiate, we move.
We can have the best ideas, a brilliant vision, or a goal that keeps us up at night—but without movement, without effort, without force—nothing happens.
We don’t accidentally just drift into greatness. We instigate movement.
If you’re feeling stuck— staring at the same screen, no spark to create something new, having lifeless conversations—that’s inertia.
And the only way to break inertia is with a greater force—not just a temporary force, it should be consistent, immense and persistent.
So when we’re tempted to stop, to play it safe—let us remember Newton. Remember that inertia is real, and the only way to beat it is to apply a greater force than the one holding us back. It may be our fear, our excuses, our self-doubt.
Let us remember that we are the force that moves our vision forward. The dream will not move closer unless we move first.
