Maybe working too much is indeed a coping mechanism—but only from a mediocre life. The 10X life is an act and expression of self-love.

When Sir Grant said that obsession is not a disease, I realized then that there is no such thing as “working too much,” not when you truly love what you do and you are chasing for 10X success.
Now, the term ‘workaholic’ feels like a myth to me. If anything, it may have just been coined by people who could not discipline themselves to take massive actions.
For A-players and cleaners, hard work is “passion for greatness” and “relentless pursuit of perfection.” Working long hours is not overtime, but extra mile. The constant email checking and late-nights-and-weekend work is not toxic culture; it’s genuine love and care towards our jobs. Maybe working too much is indeed a coping mechanism—but only from a mediocre life.
There’s nothing wrong with putting so much effort and energy into what we do. There’s nothing wrong with wanting something to be the best it can be and striving relentlessly toward that goal. The 10X life is an act and expression of self-love. Like when we love somebody, don’t we wish them nothing but success? We must be the same to ourselves. We must also want the best for our own and always set ourselves to win and live our dreams.
To make our success happen, intrapersonal tough love is required. We must challenge ourselves to step outside our comfort zones and push ourselves hard to unravel what we’re truly capable of. We must give ourselves massive goals to aim for and allow ourselves to stretch to achieve them. As Grant Cardone said: 10X life is a gift. It’s an opportunity for us to live to the fullest. When we choose to contract and fall back to average thinking, we are only depriving ourselves of the greatness life has to offer. We are pulling ourselves away from the dream life we’ve long wished to live in this lifetime. We are telling ourselves we’re not worthy of success.
AMEN! Indeed, massive success is your duty, responsibility——and OBSESSION!
Become overenthusiastic about your vision and potential, as no one else will. Remember, if its to be it’s up to me. You need to be obsessed in the most beautiful divine way possible, especially related to your mind.
Embrace mental obsession and growth!
30 minutes per day is all it takes.
Never do less, but you can always do more.
