We all started as beginners. If we revisit our first times—our first codes, first mockup designs, first meetings we hosted, first servers we installed, and even the first processes we implemented, we would probably think we could have done better.
Nobody has ever executed a task perfectly during their first tries. In one way or another, there were flaws, and imperfections that we have resolved through time.
You see, growth comes from the accumulation of all our experiences that forged us to move forward and do better. Because there are things that we cannot learn through a single click on the Internet. We have 98% encounter it ourselves, and 2% learn it from somebody else.
Remember how it took a lot of trial and error before you finally mustered up the courage to ask your mentors? So pull down your barriers and help a team member out.
Cast your mind back to the first time your code did not run an error, the first time you had an approved design, the first time a client praised your work or the first time you had successfully set a server up. Relive those first times and think about how our team members would feel when they experience the same. After all, we are a community who are set on achieving a common goal, and we can get there quicker if we do it together.
