Winning and losing are generally slow processes. They take time to happen. The same goes for our personal and company goals. In performance reviews, we either pass or fail. The result is based on the actions we took and did not take in the last 30 days (for probies) or in the last 3 months (for seniors).
Success requires daily action. It is found in our daily routine. Success is not built in a day. It is a result of one’s continuous efforts. The sum of the small and simple decisions that we make on a daily basis. A relentless pursuit day in and day out. A continuous process of improvement until we reach our goals.
This is why we’ve got to pay attention. We have to watch how we spend every single second of our day. Because seconds turn into minutes. Minutes turn into hours. Hours turn into days. Days turn into consistent daily actions leading us towards our success or failure.
