BlessUP Impactful DMMT Wednesday, business soul friends!
Do you also feel clunky, confused, and alienated whenever you visit a website with poor information architecture? This is just one of the frustrations that a user would feel when they encounter a non-intuitive site.
Imagine that you are in a mobile phone store and you see the phone that you really want to buy and when you check it, it has no power button on it. You do not know how to turn the device on. How would you feel? This is a perfect example of a non-user-friendly design. It gives the customer an extra effort and hurdle to jump over the course of their journey. Average customers do not like to be presented with unfamiliar situations. They want to be guided well on what to do next especially when they are to spend money.
As designers, giving the visitors of our pages a friendly and sensible feeling as they navigate the site is a must. We should not sacrifice usability over aesthetic designs. We should always consider organizing and building website elements in a way that is informative so the user can transact naturally and navigate effortlessly. In that sense, we can make an impact on our clients’ lives. Remember, we are not here just to make a sale. We also want to leave an impact on our users through our easy-to-use and understandable applications.
Until I SEE YOU again,
Make your life mean something.
Make an impact.
BlessUP 🙏
