Innovate or Die!

Innovation is a discipline that is woven into the very fabric of our NaXum Operating System. It is a KEY part of who we are and what we do here in NaXum. To be relevant, we have to keep on innovating and upgrading our platform. The tech industry is a highly competitive market, so we either thrive or fade into oblivion. NOW is the perfect time to pack our extra mile bags and ROCK it out!

The long-awaited innovation of our platform is finally gaining momentum!

Our goal in Project Phoenix is to rebuild our platform using the latest technology and framework. In this new platform, we are using Vue as our frontend framework and Laravel as our PHP backend framework.

  • Vue is a JavaScript framework for building user interfaces. It builds on top of standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and provides a declarative and component-based programming model that helps you efficiently develop user interfaces, be they simple or complex.
  • Laravel is a backend framework that provides all of the features you need to build modern web applications, such as routing, validation, caching, queues, file storage, and more. 

Creating this new platform will not just bring our platform to the next level. This will also allow us to have a more developer-friendly environment. Modules are decoupled. No more common files or Perl scripts to deal with. Version control is in place which creates clear accountability on every change that we deploy. We will now be able to debug and develop on our local machine creating a safe space to do our ARTwork. Ultimately, we will have a robust, yet scalable and maintainable platform that everyone will be excited about!

What a promising future isn’t it? We now have the opportunity to make this Project Phoenix a reality. All we have to do now is GO ALL THE WAY and GO EXTRA!
